Dear Reader,
🎶 All I knew this morning when I woke,
is I know something now, know something now,
I didn’t before… 🎶
As I was watching Taylor sing a mashup of “Glitch” and “Everything Has Changed” during Lyon N2’s livestream, I couldn’t help but wonder, WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!
The idea of a “glitch” has been a part of Swiftie clowning for quite a while now. Because of that, I think we’ve all been waiting for Taylor to perform “Glitch”, knowing that the timing of it could very well be some sort of Easter Egg. Also, by singing Glitch in Lyon, Taylor has now sung every song from her Midnights album on The Eras Tour. We’ll come back to that, but it adds even another piece to the puzzle.
To me, it felt like Taylor was sending a message by singing these two songs together - that there’s been a “Glitch” and so “Everything Has Changed”. But what that message means? I have no idea! So please, if you have any thoughts, theories, clownings, etc., let me know in the comments.
That mashup was just one of many other stellar surprise songs in Lyon and fun moments - including Europe’s first rain show, instrument malfunctions, and more. Let’s get into it!
