It’s Me, Hi!
Here are 13 fun facts about me and Dear Reader:
I’m so excited you’re here!
I started sharing curated Swiftie playlists in September 2023, and making my monthly-themed Swiftie playlists is now a highlight for me every month.
I shared my first mashup after Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) came out, and I started singing ‘Castles Crumbling’ with ‘Today Was a Fairytale’ together in my head. I love hearing your suggestions for mashups, and working on fitting songs together in a fun and creative way.
I’m constantly saving fun, interesting and notable pieces of Swiftie content that I come across on social media - my Swiftie Scoop e-mail newsletters shares the best ones I find with you!
I’ve been a Swiftie since Taylor Swift’s debut album (I listened to Invisible obsessively - that song really hits different).
I turned 33 on Dec 8, 2023 - for 5 days every year I’m the same age as Taylor Swift.
My sister surprised me with tickets to The Eras Tour for my birthday in 2022 (best gift ever 😍) - I had the time of my life seeing Taylor for the first time in person at Philly N2’s show!
I graduated with my bachelors degree in 2013 - Taylor’s lucky number.
I got my doctorate in music the same year Taylor was awarded her honorary doctorate as well (Class of ‘22!).
I spent 7 of the best years of my life living in London (including when her album Lover came out).
I live in the Washington DC area (please come do an Eras Tour show here, Taylor!)
I’m a Folklore/Evermore girlie.
I adore all her albums, and my fav song really just depends on my mood and current season of life.
Let’s Connect
My absolute favorite part of social media is connecting with other Swifties and sharing all of the different things we’re experiencing, especially during this exciting time of the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift’s re-recording project, and now TTPD also coming soon. Feel free to leave comments on posts, and to reply to e-mails with any ideas, requests for future content, musings, and thoughts - I love to hear from you!
