I think that lyric is how a lot of us are feeling after watching London’s Eras Tour shows over livestream, would you agree? 😭 I’m still wondering if this past weekend actually happened!
From the most epic of surprise song mashups, to incredible surprise guests, to Travis taking the stage in the most poetic way possible, there’s a lot to cover - so this issue is a bit longer than usual. Let me know your own thoughts on the London shows in the comments below!
For me - I loved seeing Taylor share the stage with two of her best friends who also happen to be two incredibly talented musicians. We’d been waiting for “Castles Crumbling” (absolutely magical), and also got the treat of hearing “us” after it had released 2 days prior (I listened to it just in time, only the day before!). Plus, Travis’ debut (Taylor’s word 🤭) on the Eras Tour stage had me screaming, squealing, and swooning. The way he literally picked her up and carried her after she got taken down by the smallest man who ever lived, put color back on her face with a makeup brush, helped get her back to her dazzling self onstage, all while wearing twin red-soled-shoes as “sole-mates” - I don’t know how it gets better than this 🥹
We all knew the London shows would be insane - Travis himself told us they would be! But never in my wildest dreams did I imagine all of this happening. So, let’s relive all the incredible highlights!
