The Setlist (with playlist links)
After Taylor released her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, on April 19, 2024, there was much speculation on how that could impact The Eras Tour. For the first Eras Tour show in Paris, we all sat with bated breath, waiting to see if anything might change. Turns out, quite a lot did 😅 I filmed my reaction to that whole first show, and boy was it a roller coaster. The order of the setlist changed around, two eras were combined, the TTPD era was created, new outfits were added, and the whole tour just felt reimagined.
We went into mourning for these songs that were removed from the setlist:
🩷 The Archer
💜 Long Live
🩶 the 1
🩶 the last great american dynasty
🤎 ‘tis the damn season
🤎 tolerate it
But have been celebrating the epic new TTPD era, which includes these songs:
🤍 But Daddy I Love Him
🤍 So High School
🤍 Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me
🤍 Down Bad
🤍 Fortnight
🤍 The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived
🤍 I Can Do It With A Broken Heart
THEN, with the restart of the Eras Tour in October, there was even more speculation about whether the setlist could change for the final leg. And for four shows, it did! “Florida!!!” was added as a surprise for London N8, and stayed on the setlist for Miami’s shows - with Florence as a guest for all of them. However, the song got cut in New Orleans, making this the final setlist of the tour. Unless Taylor’s got some more surprises up her sleeve??

I made the setlist into a playlist - so if you want to prep for your own Eras Tour show, and/or just want to rock out to the Eras Tour setlist whenever, give it listen. Here’s the playlist on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and YouTube, as well as clean versions on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
Attending The Eras Tour
If you’re going to the Eras Tour this year, I am SO excited for you! You’re going to have The Best Day 🤩 Here’s some tips to help you get the most out of your experience.
Top Tips For Going to The Eras Tour
I put together this post with 13 Top Tips for going to the Eras Tour. I also shared these tips in a YouTube video, with extra background and info.
If you’re hoping to take some high-quality videos at your Eras Tour show, I also made a YouTube video with my tips for filming the Eras Tour. My main tip is to mix up the way you’re capturing content: Variety is good!
What to Pack in Your Eras Tour Bag
What you pack in your Eras Tour bag can make a big difference. I’ll list everything I packed in mine below. Make sure to check your stadium’s regulations for what kind of bag (i.e. clear) and size of bag they allow, plus stipulations on what can be in it - every stadium is different.
I shared an updated Unpacking My London Eras Tour Bag video, with more info on all of the items I brought with me to London’s shows in August 2024. After going to 5 shows in a row I felt like I got a pretty good idea of what was helpful to have in my bag, and what was not! Here’s a link to my previous Unpack My Eras Tour Bag With Me video as well, after my very first Eras Tour show in March 2023.
Portable battery pack - heavy duty
Wallet-sized purse (to hold your ID, credit card, etc.)
A cute printed ticket
Face masks
Empty Plastic Water Bottle/Snacks (check if any food needs to be wrapped in clingfilm)
An empty ziplock bag, just in case
Eras Tour Chants, Claps + Customs
There’s a lot of rituals that Swifties do throughout the Eras Tour show. You definitely don’t have to take part in all of them, but they can be super fun. These are the main ones I know:
Fearless: After the bridge, place your hands in a heart shape above your head.
You Belong With Me claps: Oh, I remember you driving to my house, In the middle of the night, I'm the one who makes you laugh, When you know you're 'bout to cry *clap clap*
All Too Well (10 Min Version) - You said if we had been closer in age, maybe it would've been fine Chant “how’d that make you feel, Taylor?!” right before Taylor sings, and that made me want to die.
Delicate: We can't make any promises, Now can we, babe? But you can make me a drink Chant “1, 2, 3, Let’s go b*tch!”
Marjorie: Turn on your phone's flashlight and hold it up, swaying it back and forth.
Bad Blood: Band-Aids don't fix bullet holes, You say sorry just for show, If you live like that, you live with ghosts Chant “You forgive, you forget, but you never let it go.”
Bad Blood: Yell before the first chorus, “She's fine! She wasn't doing anything…Hey…stop!…Hey stop!”
Anti-Hero: Did you hear my covert narcissism I disguise as altruism, Like some kind of congressman? Chant “Taylor, you’ll be fine.”
Bejeweled: And by the way Chant “Where are you going, Taylor?” I'm going out tonight
Karma: You could shout, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs”
Making and giving out friendship bracelets: This isn’t a chant or a clap, but a super fun custom that came from the You’re On Your Own Kid lyrics, “So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.”
Did I miss any?!
The Eras Tour Lyric Booklet - with printable PDF
If you’re looking for a booklet you can easily print out with all of the lyrics, customized to this new version of the Eras Tour, then look no further! I’ve got you covered. I put together this simple lyric book that you can print out and bring with you to your show. Each song is cut down to fit what Taylor actually sings, so you won’t have to skip through other song lyrics that she’s cut out. I also went through and added the (rough) transition time between each Era, as well as chants and when Taylor gives speeches.
Here’s a link to PDFs you can print out (in two different sizes, so hopefully one will work for your preferences!):
Getting Last Minute Tickets
In August I flew from the US to the UK without any tickets, just hoping to somehow see Taylor Swift, and I ended up going to all 5 nights of the Eras Tour in London! It was truly the best week of my life, and I learned a lot about different ways to try and get last minute tickets. Whether you’re trying to get to one of the remaining Eras Tour shows, and/or want some ideas for getting future concert tickets, here’s a video where I share how I got my Eras Tour tickets, plus my top tips and advice on avoiding scams.
Watching Over Livestream
If, like me, you’re constantly watching Eras Tour shows over livestream, I’ve compiled my top tips for tuning into livestreams on this post. Here’s a quick summary:
My go-to livestream is @tessdear on TikTok/@tessbohne on Instagram
Otherwise, I just type “eras tour” into the search bar, toggle to the LIVE section (on TikTok), and look for current Lives going on.
Stadiums can have really bad service (I know now from personal experience as well), so don’t worry if your live cuts out. Just wait for the streamer to get it back or Tess to find a new streamer (she’s so good!), or switch to another live.
Don’t stress! Even if the live is frozen, glitchy, or goes out, just remember that there’ll be loads of videos of the show to watch on social media later.
Eras Timings
If you’ve ever wanted to tune into a livestream for a particular era, and/or wondered how long each era of the tour lasts, you may want to keep this chart handy. I was curious about the same thing, so I put together this chart of all the eras timings (above!).
The first number in that chart shows how far into the show each era is (from the starting point of when the clock finishes its countdown) 🕛 The number in parentheses shows how long each individual era lasts - starting from the transition into each era (aka the Fearless era starts with the golden waterfall on the screen, the Red era includes the red box interlude, the Midnights era starts with Taylor’s dive after surprise songs, etc).
Timings are based on watching the livestreams of the shows in Paris and Stockholm (I watched them all, noted the timings, and took an average)! These times can vary depending on how long the champagne problems applause lasts, what songs she sings during the surprise song set, etc. I hope that all makes sense and that this chart helps!
Time Zones
I share time zone charts before each city’s shows, with a breakdown of the Eras Tour timings for each time zone. I try to make it as clear as possible, so hopefully it’s easy to find what time the show’s on in your own time zone. I also add countdowns to my Instagram Stories for the start of the show and the surprise songs, if you want an extra reminder on tour days.
The Acoustic Set and Surprise Songs
“Welcome to the Acoustic Set!” Do you also get such strong feelings of anticipation and nervousness whenever you hear Taylor says those words? I think it’s safe to say that the Acoustic Set is one of the most beloved parts of the Eras Tour for everyone involved - Taylor even says it herself.
Last year Taylor had surprise song rules that she pretty much (but not always) followed. They included:
Each song could be performed once.
Exception: If Taylor messed up while performing the song, she could sing it again.
Exception: If the song was from her Midnights album, she could sing it multiple times - because Midnights was (at that point!) her latest studio album.
This year, Taylor scrapped the rules and said she’s just going to play whatever she wants. And she truly has! There’s been cities where she’s played the same surprise song twice (I’m looking at you, “You’re On You’re On, Kid” in Dublin - and yes, the repeat was for a fabulous reason). But she generally does vary her song choices, and she has gone through an incredible amount of her discography. At this point she’s only not played 7 songs from all of her studio albums.
Tracking Surprise Songs

Last year I started designing posts to show the surprise songs for each night of the tour. For the background I blended two colors together, one for the era of each song (i.e. if the surprise songs were from Midnights and Red, the background blended from dark blue to red). Here’s a post with all of 2023’s surprise song posts.
Then Taylor entered her mashup era - and while I absolutely adore listening to them, it made designing these surprise song infinitely more complicated 😅 It took me some time, but I’ve kinda got the hang of fading four different colors into each other, so that I can keep up with color coding all of Taylor’s mashups by Era. I also add little graphics to go with each song. I love designing these posts so much, and I share them as soon as I can after each show. Here’s all of the surprise song posts of the Eras Tour so far, compiled into one post - I share a new post with every show, and will compile all of the Surprise Song posts once the tour has finished!

To easily keep track of which songs have been sung, I created and share an updated Surprise Song Tracker. I added every Taylor Swift song onto their respective Eras Tour square. Every time Taylor sings a song, I add a heart or a music note (in the appropriate Era color) next to the song - hearts for songs Taylor sings in full by themselves, and music notes for songs she’s sung as part of a mashup.
This is what my Surprise Song Tracker looked like at the end of 2023. And this is what the latest Surprise Song Tracker looks like (after NOLA N3) - but again, it’s constantly getting added to. You can find future updates on my Instagram.
Finally, I also started a tracker of Unsung Songs on the Eras Tour (swipe to the last slide), to more easily pinpoint which songs from her discography Taylor hasn’t sung yet. It’s incredible to see how few songs are actually left on this tracker! I’m so curious to see which songs from it she might sing next.
Blank Surprise Song Tracker
I’ve gotten some requests to make a blank version of my Surprise Song Tracker, so that you could add to it yourself! I made it into two templates on Canva - one Instagram post size, and one 8.5x11, if you’d like to print it out. If you do use it and share it, tag me @bitesbybekah! I’d love to see it 🫶

Swift Alert
If you’re not already using it, you’ve probably at least heard about Swift Alert, or seen screenshots of it across social media. It’s the Taylor Swift app that’s taken Swifties by storm - and for good reason!
The app offers all kinds of fun things for Swifties. It’s free, though some features are only available if you pay a one-time fee of $1.99. As its name implies, one of the things Swift Alert does is send notifications for when Taylor starts different Eras of the show (you can customize which ones you want to receive notifications for).
Then there’s “Mastermind”, where the games begin! For each show you can select your guesses for which outfits Taylor will wear, as well as the surprise songs she might sing. You earn points for correct answers, and your score is tallied up at the end. There’s a top 10 leaderboard featured, and a prize for the top scorer. Plus, Swift Alert shares all kinds of interesting statistics after each show. A cool feature you can also unlock with the one-time fee, is access to the history of Taylor’s outfits and surprise songs. These are just interesting to look through, and can be quite useful when you’re trying to make your own show predictions.
I haven’t had personal interactions with anyone from Swift Alert, but the team genuinely seems fantastic. They’re very active on Instagram, sharing about updates to the app and gathering feedback. They also really seem to listen to the feedback of their users, and make app updates based on that feedback - which is wonderful to see! I’ve been really enjoying the app, and can definitely recommend (my dream is to win Mastermind one day, but I don’t think it’ll ever happen 😅).
Swiftball
Snowglobe Allie started the whole Fantasy Swiftball game, and keeps it going to this day! For each show you can submit a google form (shared over on the Twitter page) with your guesses for that Eras Tour show. Many questions are the same, and some differ from Swift Alert. You can submit guesses for both. Swiftball also has prizes available for the highest scorers.
Bryan West - USA Today’s Taylor Swift Reporter
Bryan West holds the amazing job title of USA Today’s Taylor Swift Reporter, and he does it so well! He quickly gets out news articles of notable happenings from The Eras Tour. One of my favorites is his article: “Every way dancer Kameron Saunders has said 'like ever' on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour”. He shares frequent updates to articles like this one, plus new ones he’s written, over on his Instagram stories!
My Eras Tour Roundup Newsletters
If it’s not too cheeky, I thought I’d leave you with a self-plug for my own Eras Tour Roundup Newsletters! These newsletters go out to paid subscribers of this newsletter, because they take me a good amount of time and effort to put together. But they’re a great place to get a recap and find all the highlights of each city’s Eras Tour shows in one place. Plus, they conveniently get delivered straight to your inbox! You can upgrade your subscription to try it out (for $5/month) here.
I love putting these Roundups together. As the shows are happening, I save highlights, clips and notable happenings to include. I send these newsletters out after the last show in each city, covering:
An overview of the city’s Surprise Songs
My updated Surprise Song Tracker
Links to full versions of that city’s Surprise Songs - with the best visual and audio quality I can find, and links to both TikTok and Instagram videos
A compilation of noteworthy happenings and highlights from the city’s shows
Prep for the upcoming city (including ticket and stadium info and a Time Zone Chart)
I hope some of those resources will be useful to you. And that you find this Eras Tour Guide helpful too! Let me know if you have any questions and/or if I missed anything. As always, I’ll be sharing frequent updates on all things Eras Tour over on my Instagram - hope to see you there. In the meantime…
It's you and me, that's my whole world 💕,
Bekah
