Dear Reader,
“…November flush and your flannel cure”
As we step into November, the autumn glow is settling, and it’s the perfect season for all things pumpkin and Red (Taylor’s Version)🧣 November has its own charm, and I’m here for all of it - warming mugs, cozy cardigans, and the crisp air and crunching leaves of outdoor walks.
Taylor also has a lot for us to look forward to this month! The Eras Tour keeps us on our toes with the final stop in the US, followed by two weekends in Toronto. We also celebrate four album releases, we’ll get the chance to grab some of Taylor’s newest collectible releases at the end of the month, and I, for one, will be on the lookout for Taylor at a Chiefs game or two. Happy November!

Swiftie November Dates
November is another big month for Taylor Swift anniversaries, though definitely not as heavy as October was. Reputation turns seven in a week! I’m sure that’ll spark even more Reputation (Taylor’s Version) clowning, though personally I don’t think we’re going to get an announcement this year…what do you think?
The OG version of Fearless dropped 16 years ago this month (can you believe it?!), and of course a few years ago we got the gift of Red (Taylor’s Version). I still remember how amazing that roll-out was - All Too Well: The Short Film, Taylor’s SNL performance, and listening to those vault tracks on repeat. The Speak Now World Tour - Live Album is also celebrating an anniversary, making me hope even more that an Eras Tour Live Album could possibly come in the future.
And I don’t know about you, but I’m so insanely excited for the release of TTPD: The Anthology on vinyl and The Eras Tour Book release at the end of the month! Will you get either, or both?!
Finally, I’ve kept track of all the Chiefs games, just in case we get a glimpse of Taylor in the stands. After last night’s surprise appearance from Travis at N2 of the Eras Tour in Indianapolis, I feel like maybe we’ll see Taylor at a game? Currently the Chiefs are undefeated at 7-0!
What are you most excited about happening in November?
November Swiftie Playlist
This month’s playlist dives into a moody, cinematic world perfect for November’s crisp, reflective days. I opened it with “The Great War,” to immediately sweep us into a story of resilience and bittersweet battles. “Safe & Sound (Taylor’s Version)” follows, a hauntingly beautiful track that serves as the perfect comfort and healing balm. The playlist then picks up motion with “If This Was A Movie (Taylor’s Version).”
We continue the cinematic theme with “exile” and “Eyes Open (Taylor’s Version).” “Maroon” offers a deep red confession that spills into the poignant lyrics of “The Prophecy”. Side note, but I’ll never hear that song the same way again after that Indianapolis N2 mashup 😭
“Run (Taylor’s Version)” add some lightness to the playlist, only to get taken down again with “Castles Crumbling (Taylor’s Version)”. We then hit “late November” in “Call It What You Want” and “November flush” in “champagne problems.” I’ll never not take an opportunity to let the ending piano from “champagne problems” flow right into the piano line of “Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus”. And of course we end with the reflective notes of “All Too Well (Sad Girl Autumn Version)” - the Swiftie autumn classic but with a melancholy twist that feels right for the end of the month.
You can listen to my November Swiftie Playlist on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube. I also have clean versions up on Spotify and Apple Music.

November Coded Mashups
This month, I put together a compilation of mashups to get you in November’s late autumnal mood:
cardigan x Timeless - These two songs intertwine threads of nostalgia and fate.
Eyes Open x Electric Touch - I love the fire and spark of these two songs together!
Bigger Than The Whole Sky x exile - This one hits right in the feels, capturing feelings of loss and longing.
Forever & Always x Maroon - Taylor sang this mashup in Sydney and its stuck with me ever since.
November Pumpkin Pie Porridge Recipe
As the days grow colder, this November porridge bowl is a warm, cozy hug in a bowl, with a festive twist of pumpkin and spices!
1 cup oats
1 cup milk (I use Silk almond milk)
1 cup water
1/2 cup pumpkin pumpkin purée
A sprinkle each of cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg
A handful of raisins
Toppings: Banana slices and pecans
Combine the oats, milk, water, and pumpkin purée in a pot. Stir in the cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg, and bring to a gentle boil. Let simmer, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender and thickened. Add raisins for sweetness and texture, then top with fresh banana slices and a handful of pecans for crunch.
Hope you enjoy this cozy bowl as much as I do!
