Swiftie March Dates
This month brings some key milestones in Swiftie history, mainly the anniversary of The Eras Tour on March 17, marking two year since its unforgettable opening night in 2023. To celebrate I’ve got some fun Eras Tour themed content coming your way this month - highlights from the tour, some playlists you won’t want to miss, plus a fun March Madness tournament that I can’t wait to share with you all. So definitely stay tuned for all of that!
Our March Swiftie calendar also highlights some Swift family birthdays, for Scott/Papa Swift on March 5 and Austin Swift on March 11. Some noteworthy singles were released this month: 22, Delicate and Mean. With Reputation (Taylor’s Version) theories always running rampant, the 15th of March could be a date to look out for as the Ides of March. Wondering what Rep TV has to do with the Ides of March? Well, in Taylor’s Look What You Made Me Do music video the golden throne has the inscription “ET TU BRUTE”. This Latin phrase translates to “And you, Brutus”, and was used in William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar when Caesar was betrayed by his friend. This occurred on March 15, 44 BC, also known as the Ides of March.
March 17th is a big day for multiple reasons. Not only is it St. Patrick’s Day, and the anniversary of the Eras Tour, but also the iHeartRadio Awards are also taking place that night. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are both nominated for awards - do you think we could see Taylor bring a partner on the red carpet for the very first time?? Later in the month, World Poetry Day is a great time to appreciate Taylor’s lyrical genius, and Selena Gomez, one of Taylor’s best friend, drops her new album on March 21!
What are you most looking forward to this month?

You can watch it here. And you can listen to this playlist on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and YouTube, with clean versions on Spotify and Apple Music
March Mashup
In honor of the Oscars, I put together a mashup of The Story of Us x If This Was a Movie. It’s the perfect pairing to go with the drama and storytelling of cinema! Let me know what you think of these two tracks together. And what other mashups would you like to see?
Featured Recipe: “The Lucky Ones” Matcha Waffle

Feeling lucky? Celebrate the month of March, plus International Waffle Day on March 25th with these vibrant, vegan matcha waffles. They’re pretty simple to throw together, lots of fun to bake up in a mini waffle maker, and pack a nutritional punch with the added matcha.
1/2 cup buttermilk
made with 1/2 cup milk (I used almond) and 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar)
1 flax egg
made with 1 tbsp ground flax, 3 tbsp water
1/2 cup sourdough discard
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp matcha powder*
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
Start off by making your buttermilk and flax egg, and leave these to sit for ~10 minutes. Then mix together all ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Cook in a waffle maker (I used a mini Dash). Serve with maple syrup and a matcha latte for a delicious, green-themed breakfast! 🍀
*Adjust the amount of matcha according to your taste - I added extra because I wanted the green color to be more prominent in my waffles. But matcha can have a strong taste if you add a lot. Also feel free to omit the matcha for regular waffles!
Decoding TTPD: A Series
We’ve been going on an adventure through Taylor Swift’s latest album one track at a time. So far in my Decoding The Tortured Poets Department series we’ve covered Tracks 1-6, chatting about the lyrics, making connections to Taylor’s larger discography, and looking at different musical elements that characterize each track. I’ve been loving working on this, and hearing your feedback - if you missed the latest video you can check out Decoding TTPD: But Daddy I Love Him here. Stay tuned for more!
And that’s a wrap on our March newsletter - I’m wishing you a very happy month ahead! Until the next newsletter…
Feeling lucky today, got the sunshine,
Bekah
