Dear Reader,

Are you as excited for April 19th as I am?! I’ve got a countdown going, and I can hardly believe that in 26 days we’ll be listening to a whole new album of songs from Taylor Swift. *insert silent scream here*

The roll-out for The Tortured Poets Department has given us 4 different variants of the album, each one getting progressively darker in color (which is a whole theory in and of itself). In this newsletter I’m breaking down all that we know about each variant, plus lots of theories and ideas on what we might see in the album.

I cannot wait to listen! But I’m also so scared of the story this album could tell - it’s looking like it’ll be a collection of the saddest songs we’ve gotten from Taylor yet. With track names like ā€œSo Long, Londonā€, ā€œBut Daddy I Love Himā€ and ā€œI Can Do It With a Broken Heartā€, just to name a few, I have to wonder: how are we going to handle it?! 😭
