Dear Reader,
Are you as excited for April 19th as I am?! Iāve got a countdown going, and I can hardly believe that in 26 days weāll be listening to a whole new album of songs from Taylor Swift. *insert silent scream here*
The roll-out for The Tortured Poets Department has given us 4 different variants of the album, each one getting progressively darker in color (which is a whole theory in and of itself). In this newsletter Iām breaking down all that we know about each variant, plus lots of theories and ideas on what we might see in the album.
I cannot wait to listen! But Iām also so scared of the story this album could tell - itās looking like itāll be a collection of the saddest songs weāve gotten from Taylor yet. With track names like āSo Long, Londonā, āBut Daddy I Love Himā and āI Can Do It With a Broken Heartā, just to name a few, I have to wonder: how are we going to handle it?! š
