13 Theories and Easter Eggs for a 5/26/25 Announcement

It’s May 26, 2025 - and a lot of Swifties are in full clown makeup today 🤡
Why?
Tonight is the American Music Awards (AMAs), and not only is Taylor Swift up for some big awards, but the fandom has pulled out a number of signs that may or may not point to a Reputation (Taylor’s Version) announcement. Of course there’s also the possibility of TS12, an Eras Tour 2.0 movie, a documentary, or even something else going down.
That said...I personally don’t think we’ll get an announcement today. Taylor Swift announced her last two studio albums at awards shows - Midnights and The Tortured Poets Department. And particularly after the mixed reception (us Swifties loved it! But some others didn’t as much) to her TTPD announcement at the Grammys, I’d be surprised if she repeated that kind of move so soon. I also feel like Taylor deserves as long of a break as she wants, given how much she’s given us over the years! So I’m very happy to wait. But I also wouldn’t mind at all if I’m wrong 😋
